The 4.38 square kilometer site will be held between the southern end of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with a dedicated metro station offering rides to 44,000 passengers per hour.

Health and safety at Dubai Expo 2020
With millions of new visitors to the city, Expo 2020 has established detailed covid-19 safety measures and precautions:
Event staff must be fully vaccinated; however, vaccination is not required for guest attendance.
All visitors must wear face masks at all times. Sanitizing stations will be available throughout the space, and visitors are encouraged to use them frequently.
Crowding is discouraged, with visitors expected to maintain two meters distance from each other.
Thermal cameras will be placed at entry points to screen visitors for high body temperatures.
Regular cleaning and sanitizing will occur in all frequently used areas.
In case of any medical issues or emergencies, dedicated facilities and staff will be available, including a COVID testing center.
